Why we give.
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are focused. When our hearts are turned toward God, He helps us proclaim the gospel through our gifts of acts, service, and resources. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.
Ways To Give
Give Online
Giving your tithes and offerings online is an easy and user-friendly way to give a one-time donation or to set up a recurring gift. You can also designate your giving to a fund of your choice. Your gifts to the general budget will support the overall ministry efforts of First Methodist. Additional funds are always welcomed to support specific ministry areas of your church, like music, children, youth, or missions.
Give In Person
The traditional method of giving our tithes and offerings is a timeless act of worship. The act of placing your tithes into an offering plate during a worship service is an important part of the worship experience. Whether you are giving online or writing a check, your act of tithing is a method of praise and worship of our Lord and Savior, who is the great Provider and Sustainer.
Mail A Check
You can mail a check to the church or drop your tithes off at the front office, located near the main entrance of Bright Beginnings. Please make checks payable to "First Methodist Church of Americus" and send them to 200 S Lee St, Americus, GA 31709.
