First Methodist Church of Americus offers many opportunities where you can get plugged into the Body of Christ. We encourage you to find a group so you may be strengthened in the faith, your relationship with one another, and ultimately your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are young adults focused on deepening our relationship with Christ and each other. We enjoy video lessons, in-depth studies of the Bible, and group discussions as we learn how to apply God's Word in our daily lives. We meet in the sanctuary building between the parlor and the nursery.
We are mostly middle-aged, but we welcome all ages. We watch a brief video, then follow up with a time of discussion. We meet in the Coffee Café, which is located near the main offices.

Adults focused on developing a deeper relationship with Christ and each other using video/discussion programs or christian book studies.
A group of older adults who enjoy class discussions as well as varied study materials. The current teachers lead the class through lessons that encourage open dialogue and thought-provoking concepts.

We gather to encourage others who wish to learn the art of needlework while sharing how we can better serve Christ.
The adult Bible study group meets in the Social Hall every Wednesday at 6:00pm.

Our Women Serving Christ (WSC) group is not here for the fellowship alone. This group is designed to strengthen women in their faith and to teach you how to reach others through community ministry efforts.
